- Determine the best possible marketplaces for the intellectual asset based on input from the previous phases of technology evaluation and application identification.
- Perform for each marketplace an environment analysis, while analyzing market and technology trends.
- Research the key players in each market and their competitive positioning.
- Select target customers and partners.
The market information is used in the asset valuation phase. The target customers and partners information is provided as an input to the marketing and business development phase.
