Space Systems/Loral Users Conference 2006

Space Systems/Loral would like to invite you to its Fourth Users Conference to be held October 2-4, 2006 (Mon-Wed) at the Doubletree Hotel in San Jose, California. As in previous years, we are anticipating that every current and future owner and operator of an SS/L satellite will attend.

This year's keynote speaker is Burt Rutan, designer of SpaceShipOne. On October 4, 2004 SpaceShipOne rocketed into history, becoming the first private manned spacecraft to exceed an altitude of 328,000 feet twice within the span of a 14 day period, thus claiming the $10 million Ansari X Prize (more at www.scaled.com).

As in previous years, the conference will also include a report from SS/L on the health of its fleet of satellites on-orbit, and presentations of papers by invited speakers
